Liminality - Judi Moss & Fiona Ryan-Clark

Liminality - Exhibition On View : 12 Sept to 5 Oct 2025. Opening reception with the artists - Sat 20 Sept - 2/4pm

Judi Moss

Liminality;

This recent body of work continues my exploration of the subtleties and newfound responses to my immediate environment … the physical and emotional impact of the awesome Blue Mountains terrain.

Using oil paint and wax medium with a reductive process  - I’m attempting to make the invisible visible, offering presence in moments of absence to convey the aspect of ‘liminality’.

I believe all is impermanent, a transcendent process which, if captured to record the amorphous elements, can offer a unifying moment of presence in a disconnected world.

Fiona Ryan-Clark

Liminality;

Fiona Ryan-Clark is a Blue Mountains-based sculptor who creates ceramic figurative sculptures. Her mythical sculptures explore themes of transience and universality, and the need to heed natural and timeless life forces.

These sculptures seemingly visit from other worlds, occupying the liminal spaces posed by the Australian wilderness and its place in our psyche.
