Paul Rhodes, an artist and academic, combines an astute narrative from psychology, (reflecting on the client / therapist relationship), with his skills in both painting and illustration. Rhodes’ artworks are sometimes confronting, incorporating his personal experience in psychology alongside high keyed coloured works and fine ink - figurative portrayals of people and situations. His wry sense of humour often softens these unique and complex artworks.
